I’ve know you since diaper days, and we’ve been bestfriends ever since. But this past week took something from me. Your very first seizure hit me hard, but you recovered perfectly and you were back to being your amazing self. Then number 2 came along…it hit me, just not as hard because I was a little used to the feeling. You recovered again. Number 3, during school…I thought it was just another one. No. You’re in the hospital and you can’t remember anybody except your immediate family. The fact that you can’t remember me, is KILLING me. But I can’t do anything about it. Tonight at dinner at Casa Ole. You just stared at me. Like you just saw a ghost. Like I’m a complete stranger. Kaitlyn, I love you with all my heart, you understand me like nobody else does. I just want you back. The old you. I miss it. 3 I miss your happy smile you wore 24/7 I miss your hugs you’d give me when we haven’t seen eachother in a long time. I miss being able to tell you anything and everything. Why can’t there just be a trigger that makes you remember everything? Why can’t I be the trigger?
